Marianne Tabarez is a Visual Arts graduate from the University of the Republic (UdelaR), visual artist and web and user interaction designer. With a deep passion for exploring and understanding the world through art and visual culture, Marianne has dedicated her career to the intersection between artistic expression and technology.
She currently works as a UX/UI designer for a company that works with more than 50 clients around the world, mainly in the United States. Her vast experience in this field has allowed her to interact with a diverse range of challenges, addressing different needs and sensibilities. From his artistic perspective, he has contributed to success stories in visual and interaction projects, making users connect effectively and emotionally with digital products.
Since 2021, he has carried out a project entitled ‘Migrantes’. This combines interviews, photography and digital collage, exploring the experiences of displacement and belonging of foreigners living in Uruguay. Through this work, she has managed to capture the essence of identity and pride of personal origin, using her experience in digital work to create engaging visual narratives.
In addition to her professional practice, Marianne is in constant contact with other artists, drawing on their findings for her own inspiration and research. She regularly attends exhibitions and museums both in Uruguay and abroad, absorbing new trends and making connections between the traditional and the modern.
Keen to learn about new digital tools, she continually integrates this knowledge into the projects she develops. With a solid background in visual arts and skills in organisation, communication and project management, she continues to develop her career with the aim of making a positive impact on the artistic and cultural community. Her commitment to research and innovation in art leads her to constantly seek new opportunities to grow and contribute to her field.
